We have been growing avocados at Donovan Family Investments since 1991. Currently, DFI produces, picks, packs and preserves 650 hectares of avocado trees and 100 hectares of macadamias. Our farms specialise in Shepard and Hass. Donovan Family Investment farms are located in a variety of locations around the Wide Bay region, more specifically Childers, Isis Central, Alloway & Bundaberg. Our Pack house is situated on site at the Isis Central property, where all the fruit is packed and distributed. We pride ourselves on quality, consistency and reliability, and by having a central Pack house we can offer our customers this year in, year out.

Here at Donovan Group, we pride ourselves on using the best management practices available to justify our production choices. Whether this is by using the more advanced irrigation setups with variable speed drives, remote connection, and water monitoring probes or by using different application processes of Fertilisers to increase efficiency and reliability of the application. All processes from the preparation of the land and Planting of trees to harvesting the fruit and packing the fruit all need precise management in order to achieve highest yields and quality.
